Until recently, Judaic art had been relegated to practical and functional
ceremonial pieces. A Maryland based metal sculpture was credited for the
earliest interpretation of ceremonial items as "imagery art" that
could be displayed year round, rather than the season for which it was intended.
Menorah's, Mezuzahs, Tzedaka Boxes, Seder Plates and Elijah's Cups are ceremonial
items used at various times of the year. Strong Metal Works crafts these
items from combinations of brass, copper and steel and carefully hand finished
each piece. Sculptures are then hand painted with vibrant water-based enamels.
