Mezuzah

Mezuzah ("Doorpost": Heb.) - refers to the small folded parchment (inscribed by a calligraphist) with scriptural verses (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21) and a receptacle in which it is inserted, are placed to the right on doorposts of Jewish homes. The Mezuzah serves as a reminder of how one should behave, according to laws of god, when entering and leaving the home. It is also a symbol of loyalty
