Seder Plate

Seder Plate ("Order": Heb.) - is used during the Passover festival, which is observed ro remind the Jews of the importance of sustaining the fight for freedom. An overview to the aforesaid thus makes reference to the commemoration of the Exodus - the deliverance of the Jewish people from the bondage in Egypt (in the days of moses - about the thirteen century BC). A Seder is a home service and meal celebrated on the first two nights - normally the 15th and 16th of the month of Nisan to commence the festival of Passover (Pesah) of the eight day holiday. The Seder Plate typically has round indentations, or small bowls, each of which contains different food.
